Hey, I’m Jess (gorejiraa) — artist, model, and professional “what-if” generator, currently based in Truro, Nova Scotia.
I make art, monsters, and poems (sometimes all at once). I specialize in practical effects makeup, and turning strange feelings into stranger visuals — whether that’s sculpting something slimy, sketching something sentimental, or writing a poem that accidentally makes you cry and laugh in the same breath. I like to bounce between mediums: creature design, digital illustration, photography, modeling, music, and the occasional film or game project. I love me some storytelling that blurs the line between the grotesque and the tender human emotions — the beauty found in chaos, and the weird in the beautiful.
